In 2021, I set out with my 50 Over 50 project to photograph 50 women over the age of 50. The scope doubled over two years to include 100 women, and the series is now known collectively by their combined age of 5,889.
Many women over 50 have felt invisible, and I wanted to change that. It’s a group that makes up 35% of the population and all their beauty, tenacity, and expertise is too fabulous not to celebrate.
My goal was to demonstrate how beautiful aging can be and to inspire others to feel confident in their own skin. It was an honor to embrace this wonderful stage of life and share in a luxurious and unique photoshoot experience with women who still have so much to offer inside and out.
