In February 2024, I had the honor of photographing Beaverton’s mayor, Lacey Beaty.

Mayor Beaty, known for rocking Nikes with her mayoral outfits, has made history as Beaverton’s youngest mayor. She’s proudly a woman of color, a veteran, and an athlete, and was super active in the community before running for mayor. Today, she’s a powerhouse in the city. Working with her on this photo shoot was an absolute honor and a ton of fun. Her team has said these are the best professional shots she’s ever had.

My Inspiration:

Exceptional Photos that hold Power

My dream is for every person to have a set of images that represents them. I want you to have one exceptional portrait you will hang on the wall with pride. An image that your family of choice considers an icon of a powerful and unique person. A symbol of your thought leadership, creativity, and spark.

To me, this old photo of my grandmother represents that vision. This single photo is what originally inspired the goal for everyone to have at least one photo to proudly display.
