Angela Braxton-Johnson, 54

“I would love to show that women over 50 can be bold, beautiful and sexy at any size; that they can reinvent, rebuild and rebrand – basically start over in their careers and be successful, even more successful than they were when they were younger! That we are living our best embodied lives!”

“I am courageously aging
From princess to queen
Taking up space
Ready to be seen
While dealing with feelings
And finally healing.”

-Angela Braxton-Johnson, ‘Abundant FATness’

Angela Braxton-Johnson is a creative artist and woman of faith who is vibrantly taking up space through all of her marginalized intersections. She is a professional life coach, author, poetess and educator. Angela is the wife of Alvin Johnson, Sr. whom she married on her 20th birthday, thirty-five years ago. Both she and her husband serve in various ministries through their church and have been serving since they were both children/teens.

Angela is the proud mother of three amazing humans, Alea Loren, Alvin Jr. and Alexander and the elated grandmother of five grands: four boys and one girl. She is aging boldly and courageously as she rebuilds and rebrands her new coaching business and writing practice, both of which are designed to help people to heal and to live more authentic, fulfilled lives.

A lifelong learner, Angela has continued to take courses in social work, coaching, yoga teacher training, and education, after graduating college. She started her first business in 1992 as a personal development consultant, and has always loved working with entrepreneurs, students, and families.
