“A happy person brings joy to those around them. A smile is the most attractive trait available to each and every person.”
50… actually 60+ at this stage of the game. But who’s counting? Debbie sees more than numbers when people are involved. After years of working in offices (and over the age of 50), Debbie was offered the chance to become the chef on a boat in southeast Alaska serving hunters and their guests. Never having done any of these things – visited Alaska, cooked on a boat or left her family for 6 months, she still jumped at the chance. And what a wild ride it was. She took on so many different roles that she surprised herself with her ability to learn and adapt. Once home from the Alaska cooking adventure, she realized it was time to do something different and that’s how she landed in real estate.
Debbie’s career as a realtor gives her the opportunity to help people of all ages discover their new future and possibilities. She guides them along the way, so they understand the process of selling and/or buying. Although she wishes she had started this career earlier in her life, she knows a little maturity goes a long way and feels her clients benefit from the years she invested in life before helping them.
Debbie and her high school sweetheart have been married over 45 years. She decided he was pretty cute when she saw him walking across campus, and the rest is history. They raised 3 boys and now have 3 daughter in-laws and 6 grandchildren. Excited about the future, Debbie plans on more travel with friends and family. Maybe retirement… but for now, she’s having too much fun living her life.
