Caring and loving, Barbara is one of those people that welcomes you with open arms, will lend a shoulder to cry on, and listen closely when you need a friend. She loves her family and friends and finds great joy in their presence.
Barbara finds the positive in tough situations and believes the glass is always half full. She loves reading, movies, happy hour with her friends, and bowling. Family and faith are fundamental to her life – she values truth, honesty, kindness, and always appreciates a good sense of humor.
Barbara is looking forward to grandkids (someday!) and watching her youngest graduate high school. After 30 years of raising her four children, Barbara can’t wait to travel and explore the world.
Barbara’s advice to her younger self: “Travel before you have kids and then take the time and enjoy the journey. If I’ve learned anything over the course of my adult life is that time just flies by. I wished I had stopped to enjoy the roses more.”
Barbara now: “Treat others the way you want to be treated. Love others and be kind. I’m not perfect at that but I strive for it.”
