2010 card design gallery

I’m really excited to offer a couple of extra-fancy holiday card options for our portrait clients this year. (Please note that luxe cards and mini accordion books are not included with the holiday card sign-up promo from our Boston mini-sessions)

Luxe cards are die-cut into delightful shapes, and can even double as a holiday ornament if you choose to add some cute ribbon (the round shape comes pre-punched).

Accordion mini-albums are adorable, and at 3×3″ they are the perfect size to leave out on your desk at work or to give a proud grandma to carry around in her pocketbook.

Our regular, 5×7″ holiday card designs (and prices for everything) can be viewed in the 2010 card design gallery.

why Carol loves professional portraits

family portraits by rachel hadiashar

Hi Everyone,

Let me first introduce myself — I’m Carol, and I’ve been Rachel’s assistant for about a year now. I’ve probably met some of you before from assisting her shoots, if not in person then definitely virtually from editing photos! I really love the work Rachel does, especially her family portraits.

As a mother of a toddler, I’ve come to really value Rachel’s creative eye & talents. Sure, I follow my son constantly with a camera to try & capture his best faces and smiles, but my dated digital camera can only do so much. And given that he’s almost 2 and the most active kid I know, most of my shots turn out blurry!

I was amazed with the shots Rachel was able to get when she photographed Jeremy last. She captured his adventurous & playful spirit spot on. Photography is something I invest in because when he’s 15 & all grown, I will want beautiful portraits to remind me of his most fun age. And quite frankly, my photos are nowhere near as beautiful as Rachel’s… hard as I try!

We’re sending out one last offer to the email list today, so if you’re interested in booking one of Rachel’s last spots before she heads back to Portland, Oregon next week let us know and I’ll try to work you into her schedule.
